RENDER hit an ATH of $13.53 but is currently much lower (around $2), down over 85% from peak. Price is highly volatile based on AI sentiment and broader crypto market. Competition from traditional cloud providers like AWS and Google Cloud is a long-term risk.
Render Network was founded by Jules Urbach, who rejected Harvard to build video games. He founded OTOY in 2008, whose OctaneRender technology is used in Hollywood films like Westworld and Avengers. He later created Render Network so GPU owners can rent out their computing power and earn RNDR (now RENDER) tokens.
